• Collection 2000 60 Midnight
• Barry M Matte Top Coat
• Seventeen Glitter Nail Effects
• Make Up Sponge
• Masking Tape

Step 1

Paint your nails with the navy blue.

Step 2

Cover this with the matte top coat.

Step 3

Stick the tape on your nails, leaving only the centre part uncovered. Using the sponge, dab the glitter over this section. Peel off the tape immediately.

DO NOT cover this design with a top coat or you will ruin the matte effect!

Gold Stripes!

Gold Striped Nails!

• Barry M 245 Gold
• 17 Fury
• All About Nails 101 Cocoa
• La Femme Top Coat 118
• Tape

 Step 1

Paint your nails with the Barry M gold. You will probably want two coats to get a full coverage.

Step 2

Make sure the base coat is completely dry. Then put some tape over the left side of the base of your nail, about a third of the way across, at an angle and paint over the rest of the nail with the 17 gold. Make sure you remove the tape immediately, before the nail varnish goes tacky and pulls as you remove the tape.

Step 3

Repeat step 2 with the darkest gold, two thirds of the way across your nail.

Finally, cover over the design in a top coat to protect it and smooth it out.

• Miss Sporty 344 Grape Fit
• Miss Sporty 408 Baby Pink
• Barry M 304 Mint Green
• Rio Professional Nail Art Pens (can be bought here)
• La Femme Top Coat 118
• Small dotting tool

Step 1 

Paint your nails blue.

Step 2

Using the white nail art pen, draw bunny shapes on your ring fingers.

Step 3

Using the dotting tool and the pastel nail varnishes, add egg shapes to your fingers, near the tip. You can either make them random colours or you can have a pattern.

Step 4

Using the black nail art pen and the pink nail varnish, add an eye and the inside of the ear to each rabbit.

Step 5

Using the nail art pens, add dots and lines to the eggs.

Step 6

Using the green nail art pen, add grass to each nail.

Finally, cover over the design in a top coat to protect it and smooth it out.

Dotty Nails!

• Miss Sporty Pink 480 Baby Pink

• Cocktail stick
• Small dotting tool
• Medium dotting tool

Step 1

Paint your nails purple.

Step 2

With the medium dotting tool, place two or three dots down the centre of your nail, making sure they're evenly spaced.

Step 3

With the small dotting tool, add a white dot in the centre of each pink dot.

Step 4

With the cocktail stick, add a pink dot to the centre of the white dots.

Step 5

With the cocktail sick, add white dots around the outside of each large dot.

Finally, cover over the design in a top coat to protect it and smooth it out.

Step 1

Paint your nails purple.

Step 2

Using the dotting tool, add evenly spaced dots on your nails.

Finally, cover over the design in a top coat to protect it and smooth it out.

Step 1

Paint your nails white.

Step 2

Using the sponge, create the gradient. You may have to go over it several times, building up the layers to create the effect you would like.

Finally, cover over the design in a top coat to protect it and smooth it out.

Snowflake Nails II!

• Collection French Mani 322 French Pink
• Rimmel 60 Seconds 703 White Hot Love
• Barry M Black Nail Art Pen
• La Femme Top Coat 118
• Sponge
• Circular gems

Step 1

Paint your nails with the nude nail varnish.

Step 2

Using the sponge, dab white onto the tips of your nails, making it fade from the tip upwards.

Step 3

Using the black nail art pen, draw half a snowflake, as described in this previous post, against the cuticle.

Step 4

Paint over the whole nail with the top coat and, while it is still wet, place a gem in the centre of the snowflake. Then, once it has dried, cover it all in another top coat to stop the gem falling off.
